  • We will help set you up with a free clinic if you are unable to afford medical care.
  • We will submit a pre-hearing brief to the Administrative Law Judge assigned to your case discussing your medical evidence and applicable Social Security rulings.
  • We will discuss what to expect if a hearing is scheduled and prepare you for the hearing.
  • We will see that you receive your benefit checks.

Compassionate Allowance Conditions

If you have a condition on Social Security’s list of Compassionate Allowances, your claim will move through the claims process on an expedited basis. Compassionate Allowances are a way of cutting through Social Security red tape as Social Security has an obligation to provide benefits quickly to applicants whose medical conditions are so serious that their conditions clearly meet disability standards.

The list of Compassionate Allowances includes serious diseases and disorders. Some of the conditions on the Compassionate Allowance list include:

  • Acute Leukemia
  • Cancer with distant metastases, inoperable or unresectable
  • Adult Non-Hodgkin Lymphoma
  • Malignant Multiple Sclerosis
  • Spinal Muscular Atrophy
  • Spinal Nerve Root Cancer
  • Wolf-Hirschhorn Syndrome
  • Wolman Disease

There are 200 different medical conditions that qualify for Compassionate Allowances.
